In a drive to ensure everyone in the Lloyd’s marketplace can understand and use these concepts and tools we are delighted to be partnering with the Southampton Data Science Academy (at the University of Southampton) to offer data science and artificial intelligence training courses across a two year programme.
This Data Science curriculum can be included as part of your CII CPD requirement should you consider it relevant to your professional development needs.

Fundamentals of Data Science (for everyone)
Audience: No coding is required but you should be comfortable using Excel.

On this 8-week course, you’ll get the theoretical knowledge, practical and technical skills you need to work more effectively with data.
You’ll learn how to explain the key concepts in data science and its real-world application, as well as classify the different types of data available and usage rights.
